Lost/Found Animals

ALL INTAKES ARE BY APPOINTMENTS ONLYCALL US AT (541) 474-5458

I LOST MY PET, WHAT SHOULD I DO?

Call the shelter at 541 474 5458 and file a lost report.  That way, we'll have your info on file and can contact you if someone calls in about the animal or if the animal comes into the shelter.
We also suggest posting on
www.findingrover.com,  or websites such as facebook (see list below of pet finder sites) and Craigslist (both in the 'lost/found' section and the 'pets' section) to help circulate their info.  Call the newspaper and radio stations, as many will run lost pet ads for free.  Post flyers in your neighborhood.  Remember, a picture is worth 1,000 words!

I FOUND A PET, WHAT SHOULD I DO?

Call the shelter at 541 474 5458 and file a found animal report.  That way, if the owner calls looking for the animal, we have your contact on file.  If you are unable to safely care for the animal, call the shelter and we will let you know how we can help.
Check for any tags or identification and attempt to contact owner if possible.  If you can bring the animal to a vet or the shelter, we can scan for a microchip.  Posting pictures on websites like www.findingrover.com, facebook, or craigslist is a great way to help circulate their info. See the list below.
